  • We provide special education advocacy services for families in Reno, Sparks, and across Washoe County. That includes support with IEPs, 504 Plans, school meetings, evaluations, and navigating services for children with disabilities or learning differences.


  • We help parents and caregivers of children who are:

    Currently in special education (with an IEP or 504 Plan)

    Struggling in school but not yet evaluated

    In need of a review or update of their current services

    Transitioning into or out of services (e.g., starting kindergarten or moving to middle/high school)

  • A special education advocate supports families in understanding their rights, navigating the IEP/504 process, and communicating effectively with schools. We are not lawyers, but we are experienced in helping families get what their children need in the education system.

  • Yes! We can attend IEP or 504 meetings in person or virtually, help you prepare in advance, and debrief with you after to make sure your concerns were heard and your child’s needs are addressed.

  • We serve Washoe County School District and surrounding areas. We also help Nevada families statewide via virtual meetings.

  • Yes. We support families from the very beginning. If your child is struggling in school, we can help you request evaluations, track concerns, and prepare documentation for your first steps.

  • Absolutely. Many students benefit from 504 Plans for accommodations (such as ADHD, anxiety, or medical conditions), and we can guide you through that process just like with an IEP.

  • We combine lived experience as parents and professionals with a deep understanding of Nevada’s school systems and laws. We know this system can feel overwhelming — we provide clarity, compassion, and real solutions.
